Kate Middleton Pairs a Roland Mouret Dress with a $35 Zara Necklace

Here’s why everyone loves Kate Middleton — she doesn’t try hard to be beautiful; she just is! While most Hollywood celebrities prefer expensive jewelry for red carpet events, the Duchess of Cambridge has no problem wearing budget-friendly pieces over and over again.

Kate recently attended the London premiere of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom with Prince William. The lovely princess came out in a recycled Roland Mouret dress that she first wore in 2012, and she accessorized it with a $35 Zara necklace. It might be hard to believe that any member of the royal family could and would settle for such a simple accessory, but Kate seems to be a breath of fresh air, and as always, she easily pulled off the look. She has definitely mastered the art of mixing high and low fashion!

Kate’s statement crystal necklace added sparkle to her sophisticated designer gown, and despite its cheap price tag, the jewelry actually looked like a thousand bucks on her.
