And if you’re thinking of taking advantage of the January sales, you might want to check out our spend vs save list first. Here we have several awesome rings and their money-saving versions! Of course, it’s all up to you if you consider the high-end ones a real investment but if saving is one of your New Year’s resolutions this 2014 then tuck away the extra 50 bucks or so in your bank account and indulge in some inexpensive, ring style!

The cross ring is everywhere because it’s sleek, minimalist but definitely different. While Elizabeth and James’ Northern Star is made out of 22K gold plate, we think that Nasty Gal’s Cross Over Ring for $25 for a set of three is a stellar deal.
SPEND (left): Maison Martin Margiela Multi Finger Rings, $440
SAVE (right): On Repeat Ring Set, $28
Show off those manicured nails with a sleek and chunky ring set! Maison Martin Margiela’s Multi Finger Rings are made in Italy, out of brass. But the On Repeat Ring Set goes for $28 for a set of 4. You have to risk if it fits all your fingers though. The Italian set is malleable and adjustable.

Connected rings are the way to go if you want to go for a Rihanna or Beyonce look. Elizabeth and James is of gold vermeil and features white topaz stones on top of each ring. Vanessa Mooney’s $58 version is nearly similar but its crystal detailing is on the chains.

Aurelie Bidermann’s gold snake ring is exquisite, with its textured scales and the style sees the creature wrapped around your finger. But this round goes to the Cobra ring which features etched designs, and entwines itself around 2 fingers! Plus it’s only $20.

We can see why Jacqui Aiche’s is worth as much as an engagement ring. The white gold overlapping rings are studded with diamonds and the workmanship is perfect. However, if you’re just after accessorizing with an eternity ring, go for the $18 gold knuckle ring which is lined with rhinestones.

The chevron ring is another trendy style and if you want something delicate and extra-glittery, Paige Novick’s gold-plated 4 Row Pointed Ring features a more distinct design accented with smoky crystals. But if you want something cheaper and tougher, the pointed cutout ring is chunkier and goes for merely $12.

We love Bing Bang’s Crystal Shard Ring for its rose gold color and marquise-cut crytal. But after seeing how dainty is even more magnificent piled on, we were willing to forgo the delicate details for the Crystalized Ring Set which costs $18 for a set of three differently styled rings.
