The biggest celebrity event of the season was concluded a couple of days ago, and as expected, the much-awaited affair was full of glam and glitz. The 2014 Oscars, held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 2), showcased countless of gorgeous ensembles and even more gorgeous jewelry.
We were just floored by all the sparkling diamonds on the red carpet. Everyone seemed to try to upstage everyone. Here are some of the ladies who wore the most expensive jewelry at the Oscars:
J-Law may be a bit of a goofball, but when she steps on the red carpet, she brings her A game in fashion. The Oscar-nominated actress donned a gorgeous and breathtakingly expensive Neil Lane platinum necklace with loads of diamonds and crystals. The 100-karat necklace is valued at $2 million. Jennifer also paired it with matching Neil Lane diamond stud earrings worth $1 million.
The statuesque beauty Charlize Theron stood out from the sea of beautiful faces with a Harry Winston necklace with a dangling flawless diamond cluster centerpiece. The necklace has a total of 155 diamond stones, and its price tag is a whopping $15 million!
Oscar nominee Amy Adams opted for a little more colorful bling. She wore multistone earrings featuring several gorgeous rocks, including diamonds, rohodocrosite, lapis, and turquoise. We just love her canary yellow diamond bracelet and those dainty diamond band rings. All of her sparkling accessories are from Tiffany & Co., and the total price is around $1.4 million.
Sandra Bullock, a classic beauty, opted for a set of gorgeous Lorraine Schwartz jewelry — a very popular choice for red carpet events. Her platinum and diamond cluster earrings and chunky diamond bracelet are valued at $1.8 million.
Blue Jasmine star Cate Blanchett was one of the best dressed of the night. Her Armani Prive nude gown is embellished with Swarovski crystals, and she finished her glamorous look with a pair of dangling earrings by Chopard. But her best accessory of the night was the much-coveted Oscar trophy, of course! We’re not sure about the price of her Chopard jewelry, but that golden statue is just priceless!
