John Mayer was certainly cheerful when he performed on The Today Show earlier this week, and we’re guessing it was because he and Katy Perry are back together.

This was the 35-year-old musician’s first televised performance in three years, and he’s still the same John Mayer we have come to know — but with a bit more accessories.
He decided to take on a hippie style with a bandanna and a silver beaded necklace.

Just the day before, Katy Perry posted a photo of them on her Instagram account. In the photo, they are wearing matching stars and stripes outfits for their Independence Day performance.
