Bulgari’s Pre-Oscars party brought out the stars adorned with dazzling jewelry. The event was also held to celebrate some of Elizabeth Taylor’s jewels, which the famed jewelry house bought at Taylor’s 2011 Christie’s auction for $6.1 million.
Everyone looked beautiful, but one stunned the whole crowd with the necklace she was wearing.
Jaws dropped, and time stood still when Julianne Moore entered the room in a red Alexander McQueen dress accessorized with Elizabeth Taylor’s famous emerald necklace.

The stunning necklace features 23.44 carats of diamonds and 60.5 carats of emeralds.

It was also one of Liz Taylor’s most prized possessions because it was a wedding gift from then-husband Richard Burton in 1964.
This was the first time anyone else had worn the famous necklace since Taylor herself. Not surprisingly, Julianne was both humbled and honored to be the one chosen for the big role.
