Most of the time, celebrities flock to trends because of their designer names. There are, however, some rare instances that these A-listers are drawn to trends that stand for more than just fashion.

One of these fads is the Lokai bracelet — a simple accessory made from silicone beads. The cost of this band is a mere $18, but celebs ranging from the Kardashians to Gigi Hadid are rocking this accessory.

What makes this different from other jewelry pieces is the story behind it and the message it brings to its wearers. Founded by young entrepreneur Steven Izen, the concept of the Lokai bracelet revolves around having a balanced life.

The bracelet includes black bead that contains mud from the Dead Sea, made to represent the low points of life. Directly opposite is the white bead, which holds water from Mt. Everest.

The white bead aims to represent the high points of life. These yin-yang elements help encourage you to appreciate and enjoy your life journey.

Additionally, Lokai is also affiliated with several charity groups. 10% of the brand’s net profits are donated to their charitable partners, including Make A Wish Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, and WWF.
